Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the 2024 ACDA Southern Region Honor Choirs!  Singers are invited to audition for one choir, and singers must be sponsored by an ACDA member to audition and participate. All applications are submitted online through the Submittable portal by the teacher/ACDA sponsor. *Please choose a specific part on which to audition. Final voice assignments will be announced when auditions are scored. Voice parts are subject to change in order to accommodate balanced choirs.

Advanced SATB Honor Choir (ALL 10th-12th Grade Singers will submit the SATB Audition)

The Advanced SATB Honor Choir is an auditioned honor choir for singers in grades 10, 11, and 12 who sing soprano, alto, tenor, or bass.

Advanced SSAA Treble Honor Choir 

The Advanced Treble Honor Choir is an *auditioned honor choir for singers in grades 10, 11, and 12 who sing soprano or alto.

*Auditions for this choir will be combined with the Advanced SATB Honor Choir. All 10-12 grade sopranos and altos will complete the Advanced SATB audition. The top scores in the soprano and alto vocal parts will be divided between the SSAA Honor Choir and the SATB Honor Choir.

Audition Information 

Rehearsal tracks, accompaniment tracks, and score excerpts are available at www.acdasouthern.org/honor-choirs/  

Record yourself singing your voice part while the accompaniment plays. Recordings must be in .mp3 format. Do not speak the name of the applicant or otherwise identify the applicant, teacher, or school on the recording or file name.
